#75 — LYNDON D. “Lyn” SORBER

born August 25, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. -graduated from Hanover Township H.S. in 1953. - lettered and staled in football as a senior. graduated from West Chester State Teachers College in 1957; lettered and played in every game for 4 years in football; started final two years; 1st team A I-STC and Honorable Mention All-State 1956 ---teams went 25-9 in his 4 years at West Chester. - - coached 20 years of high school football; 11 years as head coach at Bristol (2) and Boyertown, (9): 5 years college assistant at Ursinus (3) and Albright (2); Chestmont coach of year in 1976; coached at Big 33, MS. Hope and Bells Co. All-Star games. - masters degree tram Southern Illinois University , Education-Math. - - currently retired, worked as teacher/coach in area High Schools, . wife Carol A. Wike, children Michael and Michelle. hobbies include reading, sports, fishing.
