1958 and 1989 Teams!
Come join former Golden Rams players, teammates, coaches and friends as we celebrate the 50th and 19th Anniversaries of the outstanding 1958 and 1989 teams.
Players and coaches from these teams will join us at the Killinger Homecoming Social where we will celebrate their specials seasons. At the Homecoming Social the team will be presented a special gift from WCU and will be introduced prior to the start of the Homecoming game.
Killinger Foundation to Induct Five into Football Hall of Fame
The W. Glenn Killinger Football Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce the induction of five (5) former West Chester University football players into the W. Glenn Killinger Football Hall of Fame. The induction will take place on Friday April 25th, 2008, at this year’s 29th annual Killinger Foundation Banquet held at the Concord Country Club (1/2 mile north of the Rt. 202 and Rt. 1 intersection). Tickets are on sale for $40.00 per person and can be obtained by calling Harvey Harr (610-873-9332) or Jack Byrne (610-436-6827). All former football players, alumni and friends of the University are cordially invited to attend. No tickets will be available at the door, cut-off date for reservations will be April 11th, 2008. The banquet will begin at 7:00PM, cash bar at 6:00PM.

Past inductees of the Hall of Fame and head coach Bill Zwann and his staff will be in attendance to help honor this year’s inductees. The foundation will also be honoring the 1989 NCAA I Playoff Team.
Annual Phonathon January 2009
The Killinger Foundation conducts its Annual Phonathon in January. On the selected Saturday, volunteers comprised of former WCU players and friends of the Foundation will contact our members by phone. When contacted, you will be able to submit a nomination (who has been out of West Chester for at least 5 years), that you believe to be an outstanding candidate for the West Chester University Football Hall of Fame. After reviewing the criteria on the card mailed to you, write your nominee’s name on the pledge form, and return it with your donation. After all the nominations have been tabulated, a maximum of five (5) individuals will be officially inducted at our Annual Football Hall of Fame Banquet. You can make your reservations by contacting either Jack Byrne (610) 436-6827 or Harvey Harr (610) 873-9332.
