Killinger Foundation to Induct Five into Football Hall of Fame
The W. Glenn Killinger Football Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce the induction of five ( 5 ) former West Chester University football players into the W. Glenn Killinger Football Hall of Fame. The induction will take place on April 28, 2006, at this year’s 27th annual Killinger Foundation Banquet held at the Concord Country Club ( 1/2 mile north of the Rt. 202 and Rt. 1 intersection ). Tickets are on sale for $40.00 per person and can be obtained by calling Harvey Harr ( 610-873-9332 ) or Jack Byrne ( 610-436-6827 ). All former football players, alumni and friends of the University are cordially invited to attend. No tickets will be available at the door. The banquet will begin at 7:00 PM.

Past inductees of the Hall of Fame and head coach Bill Zwann and his staff will be in attendance to help honor this year’s inductees.
2005 Annual Phonathon January 14, 2006 10am-5pm
The Killinger Foundation will conduct its Annual Phonathon over the weekend of January 14, 2006. On Saturday, volunteers comprised of former WCU players and friends of the Foundation will contact our members by phone. When contacted, you will be able to submit a nomination (who has been out of West Chester for at least 5 years), that you believe to be an outstanding candidate for the West Chester University Football Hall of Fame. After reviewing the criteria on the card mailed to you, write your nominee’s name on the pledge form, and return it with your donation. After all the nominations have been tabulated, a maximum of five (5) individuals will be officially inducted at our Annual Football Hall of Fame Banquet, Friday April 8, 2006 at the Concord Golf and Country Club. 2005 Homecoming Social - Review
The 2005 Killinger Foundation Homecoming Social was a smashing success. Many former Golden Rams players, coaches and friends of the program made their presence known. The weather cooperated and everyone enjoyed themselves reliving the days when they wore the Purple and Gold. The 1960 team was in attendance as they were honored for their undefeated PSAC Championship Season.
The afternoon was capped by an outstanding performance by the Rams as they easily beat Mansfield 63-20.
